My grandmother had recently (not recent, jan. 10) died from bladder cancer that suddenly spreaded through several of her internal organs including her bones. I wonder how she developed it, it started out as blood to the urine, but it grew steadily worse. She was a healthy woman at the age of 62, how did it spread quickly after some treatment, and if I ever wondered if she did chemo, would she sustain through it?
This has boggled me for a long time and I might need answers, she has been taken from me far too soon, and I know nothing about bladder cancer and its effects. When she was released at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville (or Knoxville, IDK.) she had a cathtader on her to extract her uring, we released it every so often just to continue the process, when we took it out, she looked and felt fine (other than her back pain), then when she was taking her prescribed meds, she grew steadily worse having delusions and visions that I didn't know about. How did this happen?
How does cancer spread overtime, and if she went to the hospital sooner, wouldn't the bladder cancer have been prevented?
I miss her, I want her back. :( I love you mamaw.
