WRIST TENDONITIS

I have a very bad and painful tendonitis flare up in my wrist. Does anyone have some suggestions as to 1) how to help the healing process and 2) how to still do arm and upper body workouts without using my hands? Last time I had tendonitis in my other wrist, I swear it took over a year to totally heal and had to have a cortizone shot. Thanx!

I used to work for an Orthopedic Surgeon and saw wonderful recoveries with 800 mg Ibuprophen/day for a month to 6 weeks, 415 mg Cod Liver Oil softgel twice a day for a month - 6 weeks (I never stopped taking it, I have arthritis in my fingers), and either a small dose injection of cortizone once a week til pain goes away or one major injection of antiinflammatory.  Took my rotator cuff 6 months of major injections every 6 weeks and prescription  antiinflammatories.

I had a dog who wouldn't put weight on one leg. Vet finally gave up said rename her Tripod.  One of my customers at Petsmart suggested the cod liver oil, and after less than a month Karla was jumping the fence on all fours!  I decided to try it and it worked just as well for my hands.  I usually take one cap at night, cuz it gives me fish burps pretty bad, but in winter on ugly days I take on a.m. and one p.m.  I've told this trick to some of my Orthopedic Surgeon's patients.  Some were able to walk for the first time in years. One masseuse was able to go back to doing her job after 3 years on LOA for a broken wrist and follow-up arthritis.
