Recently my granddaughter and I took a train trip to visit my sister, and we loved it!!  On the way home we bought some items for our friends, and purchased a T shirt that had Chicago written on it.  I enjoyed the train ride enough that I am planning a westward trek later in the year.  

I am a casual type person,, , I love to read, belong to a book club, Book to movie club, quiet interesting.

In the summer I try and preserve a few things we like for winter. I like to have tomatoes, green beans, corn on hand,, this year I have been lucky enough to have some blackberry jelly, and pickled beets. guess you could say I like to cook although, simple things.

My interest for the future is to travel a bit...
