About Me

I'm a senior in high school and in about one year I will be training in the US Air Force.  I'm currently a 2nd Degree Black Belt the martial arts style of Japanese/Okinawan Karate.  At school almost everyone knows I'm a black belt because I tell a friend and they tell other people and it spreads around.  Some tease me about it, but that is what martial arts teaches you to do to just ignore their teasing. Others have great admiration and respect for me.  Whenever I wear my gi and obi (uniform and belt) to the grocery store after practice, I notice people almost stand back, but have respect for me.  I used to be in gymnastics for eight years, it started to get more expensive because I was going to go ont to team, until my dad stopped paying child support, and I had to quit. By looking at my past and present activities and sports, you would think that I'm very fit, and that's not so true.  The reason why I have to wait a year for the Air Force is to get in shape.  So, I've started on this plan called Body-for-LIFE for Women.  I've only just begun the plan, but I would recommed the plan for any women, also men. The for women plan started out because the women's body composition is so different from a man's.  I am very optimistic about my future.  I plan to pursue my career in being a detective for the Special Victims' Unit, protecting those from the abusive.  God and my family are very close to my heart, we've been through tough times, but have come out as survivors, conquerers, and better people.

Does anyone have any suggestions or anything to help releave the pain (besides resting them, I already know that one)?
