A few weeks ago I had "part" of a breast lump removed.  They were supposed to get the whole lump (but unfortunately, it can only be felt when I'm upright).  I was told it isn't cancerous.   My follow-up appointment was postponed (till tomorrow).  So I will get more details as to what exactly it is.  My fear is that this will one day "become" cancer.  Although I'm not looking forward to ANOTHER surgery, my gut...

Can someone explain the difference?  Whenever being admitted to the hospital or having outpatient surgery, people are asked if they have advanced directives or a living will (or if they want more info on this).   Where would one go for this info BEFORE they are in the hospital or having surgery?  Any info about this subject would be greatly appreciated.
