I am a 49 yr. old mother of 2, a 26 yr. old married daughter and a 25 yr. old at home, working student son.  My daughter & son in law blessed us with a grandson Sept.. 2008.  He is an adorable, precocious, outgoing wonder & is as hyper as his grandmom:) 

I love to quilt and craft - just about any kind of craft.  I enjoy teaching quilting or crafting to both adults & children.  On that note I have been a volunteer 4-H leader for over 30 yrs.  I also belong to 2 quilting guilds.  In addition to those interests I collect cookbooks, teddy bears & thimbles;  enjoy cooking, bargain shopping & sopping for gifts for friends, reading & the internet. My computer is one of my favorite things, perhaps even an addiction <beg>.  Desktop publishing, quilting design & 'traditional games' like Scrabble, Mah Jong & Solitaire are great past times.

Currently I do not work do to nerve damage in my lower back resulting from fusion surgery after a car accident - a cement mixer rear ended us.  My right knee also needs a replacement which they are hesitant to do.  Hence, my family, friends, church, cyber friends / computer are important to me
