You asked.."So how does a mother break the silence to her children that she is living with cancer?"

I. M. O. it needs to be age approiprate.  Maybe @ the hospital you and your husband could speak to a social worker (all hospitals have on staff social workers as part as your team,  and they can guide you and help you,  I know as a momma at times I over did it with information with my kids when my DAD was sick..

My Momma is STAGE 4 Cancer survivior and all her kids are grown adults and she shared all info/it would have been different if we were minors.
