I have lost 52 pounds since Jan 12 on the 17 day diet and have another 10-15 pounds to go. My question is with the loss, my eyelids are very "droopy" now and everyone tells me that an eye lid lift is called for. Is there anything that I can do for this? I can feel it all the time and at times it impairs my vision. Can you give me a little hope? I also quit smoking last November after smoking for 40 years. So smoke free and weight loss is an awesome feeling. Weight loss is due to Dr Phil and the Doctors TV programs. Thats where I found out about the 17 day diet and have been watching both programs since Jan.
So here goes! I did sign the 2010 health challenge and commitment to myself on Jan. 4, 2010 and I have lost 57 pounds to date. My starting weight was 205 and I'm now 148. I still have a little more to go but, most of it is going to be trying to get things toned up. I'm saying that much might not happen since I had to have my gallbladder removed after the birth of my second child and it was before they could do the small incitions. I have lots of hanging skin and unfortunatly I can't afford to have the surgery to get it removed. I remember one of the moms from an old show refering to it as her apron. That's me and I hate what I see in the mirror. Maybe someday I will get fortunate enough to afford the surgery but, if not I'm stuck with my apron. I guess that's one of the down falls of letting myself go and gaining all the weight. I feel so much better health wise and just wanted to say " Thank you" for openning my eyes and making me see that I could do it if I just set my mind to it. I record the new shows daily and enjoy all the knoledge that I gain from it. So Thank you again Doctors for making me see the light! P.S. please excuse any of my misspelling.
This outline you did is very well done, Dr. Ordon, so I'm going to share on Twitter after I comment.
For a head to toe/inside and out medical, dental and visual makeover on THE DOCTORS I'd camp out in a sleeping bag on THE DOCTORS stage after hours and be a "go for this and go for that" person to help out and live off Smart For Life Cookies and Water until makeover complete plus work out in y'all's gym if okay. Oh, and Dr. Jim Sears could have a break and I could be person who demonstrates or to demonstrate on that gets tomato juice poured on head etc.
Here's link for Smart For Life Cookies if anyone wants to check out: http://www.smartforlife.com/CookieDiet/
Oh, BTW Dr. Ordon, have you heard of 3 to 4 dried apricots not as a meal and as a snack for the same reason since swell up in stomach?
I AGREE WITH everything you said except no 7 I LOVE MY HAIRY ITAILIANO HUSBAND!~ WAHOO Even though on top of his head he is 100 percent bald! HE LOVES TO MANSCAPE AND I SAY no no I love your hairy body baby!
