I wonder if i ever tested for vitamin b12. hmmm. i'll ask my doctor about it. thank you for the information.

I am on B12 shots monthly for life.  When you have a B12 deficiency without the shots, the peripheral neuropathy alone can drive you crazy!  This seems to be becoming more prevalent in the past few years IMO.
