my name is Amber and live in Price, Utah.well
i saw ur blog, and let tell u a lil about me. I use to weigh 389 lbs.
and i am 32 yrs old with 5 kids. i had got on my mom n dad wii fit and
it told me i was too big for it that it would not work for me to play
on it. i was so pissed.. but then i come to realize i needed to do
something about it... so i had knee sugary in march of this yr. and i
changed what i was eating, so no sugar as in candy, cakes, ect... fast
food, greasy foods, and no soda pop at all i even cut down on the
juice. i drank lots of water... and i ate lite breakfast, salads for
lunch, and had something simple for dinner. maybe a snake or 2 in
between meals. then i would also find time out of the house and i would
go to the wellness center here in town and go swimming for workout and
use there workout equipment. for about 45 mins 1 hr. switch between the
two. so one day i would do swim aerobics and the other day i would use
the wights and i would ride the bike every day for 30 mins. now i do
everything everyday. and Price is not a very big town so there is not
alot to do here... it really helps if u have a friend to do it with
too.. i did till she got hurt at work and then she quit going with me
and then i found another friend to go and she backed out to after
Christmas lol.. anyhow i just keep going cuz i really want to do
this... i hope this works for you... if you have any more questions
just ask .. oh ya i know weigh 289lbs.
OH.. also. I just got my hair cut today and was talking to the hair dresser about losing weight. she lost 30lbs just by dancing around the house. She said she would just put her ipod on and just dance! it's funny because i know another lady who lost nearly 80lbs by doing this! she also ate a lot better. but the only exercise she did was dancing around the house.
I like the wii. I actually have not used it in a while. More due to having too many pains to deal with and just not wanting to do it, and not due to me just not liking it.
I find for myself that the quickest way I lose weight is eating better, which mean a lot less complex carbs, and lifting weights. Light, free weights. I also like certain videos of yoga and pilates. they are fun.
I also have WII fit plus. it's a great workout. I also have a WII resort and WII sports too. The bowling game is really fun. it's a good excercise and tennis. my problem is i do WII everyday but i have a eating problem. I have a bad habit of eating too much.
Hi Janice I know several people who have lost a weight with the wii. We don't put our weight on over night and we can't get it off over night.Don't be hard on yourself.We have to start eating less and healthier.I have learned to use a smaller plate.Please keep everyone posted on your success.
I heard that Yoga gives you a great workout...if you can't make it to a class maybe buy a DVD of it and follow along with the DVD. I don't do it but have heard ALL positive things about it.
