I think I have an allergic reaction to the chemical MMA used in the nail products. 

oh.   kinda sounds that way.   You might want to see a dr about that!   could it be they filed them too much?   not the tips, but the top of the nail.  i have heard of people having infections from instruments that were not sterile.
