WARNING TO ALL: I cannot see the name I am addressing this to while writing this, something like Shamahboob, who said something like "No harm done," but this is a warning to all. I read or heard somewhere that pregnant women should not take cinnamon in these kind of quantities. Normal seasoning of foods is apparently fine. And you never give honey to a baby under a certain age. So we do have to be responsible on these matters.
I checked the original source of the Honey and Cinnamon diet, and the source I had looks like a tabloid to me, so I do not trust it. I have heard the doctors talk about the benefits of cinnamon and the benefits of honey, but not this diet. I know the Bible says something about using a LITTLE honey. Adelle Davis says people gain weight from use of honey. So I think the quantity of the cinnamon and honey is important.

Hi, I gave all the URLs above in blue, including in some of the posts. I don't know if it is a definite thing, hence the URLs I found on the internet that I thought people would be interested in. My qualifications are of a regular person. I found this info on the internet. Nothing else. I don't know if DRs approved it or there were studies done. It's like anyone, including you, finding something on the internet and blogging about it. I have no clue as how to answer your post any other way.
It is confusing to me, not knowing who you are, Melissa. Perhaps I missed something somewhere giving your qualifications. I would like to know what the doctors think of this honey and cinnamon diet. Do they say that both the diet and all those remedies work or not or the jury is still out? Are you also a doctor who has checked the research on this?
Hi, I only drank what they said to drink at a time (1/2 cup at a time). I'm not sure if more will make things work faster or different if you drink more at a time. Yes, for me the cinnamon got thick on the bottom, but only after it had been sitting overnight. When I did this I didn't do it every night, but did it some nights, couldn't tell much difference other than when I was eating like a pig I didn't gain any weight from it; not sure iff the cinnamon and honey contributed or not to that.

Can you give a URL for the above?
Thanks for clarifying this for us.
