I too sleep on my stomach and have been told by a couple different Physical Therapists that the best pillow to help with this is a Body pillow. You should put it along you side to actually tip you up partly on your side. This will help prevent the backache you feel in the morning or at least I know I do. Also you should put one leg on either side of the pillow and one arm on either side.
I'm right there with you! I've tried sleeping on my side & back. Can't do it! We need a good pillow for tummy sleepers. If you find one, please let me know.
