I live in Texas, so Howdy is what we say as well as 'fixin to do somethin'.
I also have parinoid feelings all of the time, and it sounds like the people you mentioned above weren't even talking about you. The reason they stopped talking is becasue every conversation takes a break now and again. They noticed you, and their vision turned to you, but that's normal also.
I know that you are getting help with your depression and stuff. You need to have more faith in people that they care. Most people don't think negatively about others unless they are given a big reason to.
I see it working out for you in the future, but you have to fight this thing as if it were cancer.
You have to keep working at it, and don't you dare give up. That's the wrong thing to do.
I'm not a licensed counselor, but I'll be your friend.
Oh my, I'm looking at the pic you posted... not seeing anything wrong with how you look. As a matter of fact, I thought the picture was of a famous guy from a hard rock band. I'm wracking my brain trying to think of the guys name. grrrr .. See what you've made me do?? lol I am going to have to search the internet for hard rock bands now. I used to be so into music when I was a bit younger, and now I don't have the time and my brain is turning to mush. If I were 10 years younger, I'd be able to name the guy right off the top of my head. I'll get back with you on the name.
But as for how you look, if that's you, I certainly wouldn't be ashamed. Some people in this world are just ignorant and rude with low self esteem themselves... so they need to find fault in others to make themselves feel somehow superior.
I think if I were you I'd talk to someone. You sure it's your looks? You don't look bad at all. I give you a lot of credit too for posting and venting here ... you can trust us here. But in general, maybe a therapist would help. Just my opinion.

I'll get to work on the band guys name.
Catch up with you later.
