Have you been to an allergist?  Just a shot in the dark.....anything could be causing headaches.....get a thorough allergy testing done.

Good Luck!

I'm sorry....I just re-read what you wrote...Ask your insurance company for a referral! You tell them that you need a doctor in you area that will take your insurance and you need a primary doctor first then your primary can find you a neurologist that will take your insurance. Make sure you do this...Your primary doctor can also give you some pain medication for some relief.

I know it get frustrating when you have no idea what or why this is happening to you. No one can give you something to make them stop. Even tho I take all this medication everyday, I still have the headaches, and yes I do get very frustrated. But I have hopes that one day they will find the right medication to make them stop. For now until you do see your doctor and he gives you something for the pain, try just laying in a dark room or take a nap. I know you would rather be doing other things but it's alot better than taking morphine at the hospital. I know what you are going thru and it's hard and it does get frustrating but try not to get too frustrated. I wish you alot of luck with your new doctor. Seeing how you have a headache everyday...ask your doctor about Chronic Daily Headache Syndrome.

I'm doing best I can do get better. I'm not sure yet if the vitamins are helping with my headache but good thing is that i don't go to emergency anymore. I hate going there because all they do is give morphine. whenever i have terrible headache. i play WII and it helps but not a lot. at least i can do something to forget the pain. I have a new doctor now and i'm going to stick with it for now. it's very hard for me to find a new doctor that will take my insurance.

I have had been thru it all and they never find anything. My Neurologist say that I have "Chronic Daily Headache Syndrome with Migraines". It is real...I have the same things you are dealing with...a headache that never goes away...they are mild, moderate and severe.  All depends on the day. I have tried many different medications, allergy to Imitrex but now I am taking Topamax and I get a medication from Canada plus I am on other med's. But the Topamax & the med from Canada which is a calcium channel blocker (you can get some from the U.S) are for the headaches. But I have been taking them for 3 years and I am still getting the same headaches, infact when I recently saw my Neurologist I told him I think the headaches are getting worse, he increased the med's. Which gets me frustrated because I was results! I want a PAIN FREE day! Talk to your doctor about Topamax, maybe it will work for you. To find a good Neurologist...search the internet for one in your area that deals with Headaches/migraines, my Neurologist suffers from them so I was like "YEAH, Someone that knows what I am dealing with"!!! There is help out there, just really search. I wish you luck and Pain free days!

thanks for the advice but i'm not interested taking medication anymore. i tried several medication for headache it did not work for me. in fact, my parents aren't letting me to take any medicaton and i agree too. unless i have a clear diagnosis of course i will take it but i'm just going to stick with vitamins and see what happens. that's the only thing i could do right now. it's very hard to find somebody that will help me with my symptoms because i have insurance that i get free medical.

Sama9150

froatriptan , the "n" didnt show up sorry about that

Sama9150

try frova(frovatripta) from your doctor it may help you.. some times it helps me if i catch my headache in time if not i take one and in about 3-4hrs later if its still there you can take ibuprofen as well..maybe keep a journal and keep track on what triggers your headaches if you havent already.. if you find them try and avoid any of your symptoms..

hope i helped..
