Hey Meliss, gosh time has run away from me. I can't believe it's been three months. Remember the anxiety you suffered before the surgery? You were so relieved when it was over. Hell, we all were. We could never literally feel your pain, but it was almost like we could. i am grateful to God that you took the PT and took it so well. You have come a loooooooooonnnnnnnggggggg way baby!!! Keep up the good work. Love you. Love, Bobbie
Thanks Lexi. I really hope he recovers quicker than doctors say. As long as he does what the PT says, then that is what he should do. I'm guessing they aren't pushing him for reasons, but when they get to the point where they say to practice the exercises at home, or in between sessions, make sure he does them. Every little bit helps to wake up the muscles to start working again.
Great Blog - nice to hear about your progress. My son is still in Rehab, personally I don't think that PT is pushing him as much as I think they should. Hopefully as time goes they will increase his workouts. He is now walking with a walker and can walk up/down four stairs. Not sure when he'll get home yet, seems to me he has allot of more progress to get him to at least 75%. When he does come home he'll be going to outpatient PT for a while. Talk Soon!!!

Thank you Barb, I appreciate that!

PS -- Then it just a matter of time when he will walk without a walker and be able to go up stairs.
