SANITA

I have a rose on my ankle and I got it done when I was 18 years old now I am 26 years old. I really don't regret it but I really forget it is there. All I got to say is that it is painful to get one. You should totally wait until you are 18 years old and then decide is that really for you. GOOOOOD LUCK

Just Us

When I was 17 I desperately wanted to get a tattoo. And my mom said that was fine but to wait until I was 25 and then if I still wanted it to go ahead and get it. I'm 28 now and I'm so glad that I didn't get one when I was 17. I have so many friends that got tattoos when they were young and wished that they hadn't. I'm not saying you shouldn't get one I'm just saying that you should take some time to think about it and make sure that it is something you really want.

Momsadvice

You're underage and will need your parent's permission.  It the law that Tattoo establishments ask for identification. If you receive a tattoo at 16 you're parent(s) will have cause to sue the tattoo owner.  If you truly want a tattoo you'll still want it in 2 years.  I'll bet by the time you're 18 yrs old, you'll have something else in mind to permanently place on your feet or you will have changed your mind altogether about doing it.  What do I think?  Personally I don't find tattoos attractive.  I've seen some beautiful body art, but as a woman I can't imagine being 65 years old or older and having tattoos on my body.  It's a personal choice.  Just think about your future and not just in the moment.  You'll be a different person when you're 20, 30, 40, etc...it's called maturing. Listen to your mom, she's older and wiser and probably has your best interest at heart.  Best of luck.
