I hope she finds some help. This is something I would not wish on my worst enemy. Actually my second chance in life is from a recent diagnosis of cancer. I was sick for about one and a half years and had been to five physicians before they found it. By the grace of God and luck dispite the long period of time before diagnosis, the cancer was contained in my uterus and had not spread to the lymph nodes, which means no radiation or chemo. That is why I got away from doing the Oxycize program. The best thing you can do for your daughter is to be there for her. One of the things that helps also is having someone to talk to about the panic attacks.
My panic attacks started around 1984 when my husband, who was mentally abusive left me with two children, ages 17 months and 3 months. I could not leave my house other than to go to doctors for about 4 years. Then I started researching what may cause this condition, because at that time not many people or physicians had the answers to treatment. I discovered that magnesium suplements helped me somewhat (stess can depleat magnesium) then I discovered an excercise program that completely took them away. The program is called "Oxycize" by Jill Johnson. I did this 15 minute workout sometimes two times a day and within three months I felt like I was on top of the world. I could go places by myself and not have panic attacks. I had energy and felt so good. I know this is what worked for me because I discontinued doing this program and now my panic attacks are back, but not as bad as they were before. I'm just recovering from surgery, so I plan on starting the program again as soon as I get clearance from my surgeon. I do beleive stress is a big part of the panic attacks. If her husband is that controling, maybe she should think about leaving him. I know it's easier said than done, but she would feel so much better.
The best treatment for panic attacks may be to get to the root of the cause, first and foremost. Professional help may also be necessary which may involve medical treatment or learning coping strategies. Panic attacks are sometimes triggered by a threatening situation where the person is fearful or unable to escape the situation. I assume to spoken to your daughter. If you notice bruises on her body that would indicate a dangerous situation if her husband is indeed controlling. How old is she? Does she have children? Does she live in the same city as you? Is this her first husband? Is he the father of her children? Seek out Dr. Phil's help!!!
I know what she's going though. I've had panic attacks for over 20 years. I've found that mine are caused from stess. It sounds like she is afraid of her husband and this is what is causing them. If you are interested I have a few recomendations that may help her.

Yes, please. I would like any information I can pass on to her. Thank you so much.
Hi,
I suffered from panic attacks and what I felt was impending doom.
I had a few mild episodes with just the overall fast heart rate, sweating,
upset stomach, shakiness. But they came more often with the stress of
my parents deaths last year. My doctor put me on a generic for Ativan
and it deters the panic attacks but doesn't do much for depression.
I have not had the vomiting or diahrrea and mine would leave after
half an hour after they hit. I have not had the symptoms you describe
here other than sweating. Sludge
I know what she's going though. I've had panic attacks for over 20 years. I've found that mine are caused from stess. It sounds like she is afraid of her husband and this is what is causing them. If you are interested I have a few recomendations that may help her.
