I also had an epidural 4 weeks ago, but I had a C-section. When I was taking classes at my hospital I asked the midwife about the side effects of the epidural and why we hear of many people complaining about pains similar to yours. She said that it could be two things: the anastesiologist could have inserted the needle in a bit farther than he should have and that causes pain and headache for the next few days, or it could be from pushing too hard and that strains the back. I'm guessing it might be the first thing with you, but then again its just a guess. I'm sorry about your pain and I hope you feel better soon- Hanah
