I am so sorry you are dealing with this and feel so alone, my sister whom lives with me so i can care for her had back surgery in 2006 and her back still isn't healed anyway while in the hospital she got MRSA and bacterial meningitis, we actually were told she wasnt going to make it. but almost 3 yrs later she is with us. her back is still not healed and she gets recurrent MRSA. and does have severe pain, her doctor has her on fentynal patches and dilodid pills, but she has RA and can't take meds for it because her back is still opened. anyway if you want to talk or ask me anything about MRSA or anything just right to me anytime I do my best to answer or at least be a friend
Hey I'm so sorry to hear about your trouble with MRSA, I havehad recurrent MRSA for almost 3 years now, I have written several blogs about my experience and helpful info on MRSA if you are interested. If you would like click on my name it takes you to my profile, I've written some of the information in my profile then go to my blogs MRSA - May Be Too Graphic probably has the most info, you may also want to read Seeing Red MRSA, MRSA again, and Update. If you have any questions or just want to talk let me know.
I can tell that you are feeling hopeless and helpless. I certainly understand why. Especially having to investigate on your own to find out. I assure you that YOU are not alone. Many people have been subjected to this infection. I haven't, but there's many people on this site that have. Hold tight and give your blog time to be read by others. I'm positive that you will get many helpful comments. In the meanwhile. I will be glad to help and answer any questions that you may have. Many of the hospitalized people that I care for have MRSA. Probably 80%-90%. I'll check on the blog a little later. Leave a question if you'd like.
