You go girl! We are all behind you! (just don't fart) Keep a log here if it helps. I know I have a log on my computer of the things I do. It helps me keep organized when my memory fails to remember what it was I did the day before. LOL I get busy and forget which muscle group I worked out... so I try to work different sections, then start all over again in a few days. It also helps if you write down your eating habits too. If you write it down in a journal or something, you can basically help keep a track of what causes you stress eating. IE... "Today was a great day, I woke up, had a banana and went on a walk... received a phone call from a friend and she went on about how skinny she was and her new surgery ... I ate 2 doughnuts and a bag of chips." - that wasn't from my journal, lol it was just an example. It will just help you keep track of everything from emotions and eating habits to exercise and healthier choices when you are able to re-read the journal. It can also be therapeutic to keep your thoughts and such for later reference.. whether or not you are progressing or regressing.
Good luck sweetheart!!!
XOXO
~Lisa aka your cheerleader ;) "Ra ra ree, kick 'em in the knee, ra ra rass.... kick 'em in the ... other knee! GOOOOO SUSAN!"
Seems like we all had dysfunctional childhoods. I am happy to hear you are on a new track. I love the new hair color. Your picture doesn't portray you as someone overweight. I would have guessed about 150. How many days do you have now? One month yet? Have you resolved things eith your daughter? Is everyone's health improving? Momma, Sissy? You seem so much more upbeat than you were just a few weeks ago. What caused the transition? Keep up the good work and yes, I would love to join in your quest to get healthy. I can't do liquid diet with cookies and pudding. I need to have a total lifesyle change. I also have to speak to my dr. because i know I have sleep apnea. i am 48 and I don't want my boys to lose me to something that can easily be cured. I hope you are well. i removed my e-mail address, but if you want it, I will give it to you on the Dr. Phil site. have a great night, and best wishes. bobbie
I have thought about going on the Survivor diet. Rice & beans for at least 3 days & then add some fish for about 5 weeks. Hubby won't go along w/ it. Hard to cook something different for him & then cook for myself. Went from 190 lb. to 172 lb. & now up to 188 lb. Glad when this cold weather is gone so I can get back into my garden. Elaine
If it would ever stop snowing here,I would love to get out and start walking again.Storm coming in on Sunday.
But I did go out today and bought some fiber one bars to snack on instead of junk. Also Plum juice for my digestive tract.I really love summer when the fresh fruit is in season.
Puddings and cookies? Cool! I like the phrase, "get healthy" it sounds better than "diet". That tends to make losing weight more fun. I'll be pulling for you Sue, keep up the positive attitude and keep on a walking! Diana
