hi melissaw72 ... You are beautiful in your pics. i lived with a bi-polar husband for 32 yrs and i suffer from anxiety, panic and chronic depression. So many people do not understand mental illness but it not any worse than a physical illness. I would love to be your friend.. I am 61 and have been thru some rough times... but life is really beautiful if you can see the little things that God wants us to slow down to see... How are you doing on the diet. I have been on it 10 days today and lost 7 lbs. but messed up today.. will get back on it tomorrow. My day was just really where I couldnt get to food easily...
Hi, I got them twice done and they came back normal--very frustrating, but I think now it may be hormones because it happens only at a cetain time in my cycle -- not consistent, but enough to think that's the reason. I do have a thyroid problem but am on meds for that already. Thanks for the advice!
I've been doing a lot of reading lately due to myself going through menopause. My hot flashes started this past summer, and I went through the saliva hormonal testing. I feel very much in control of my life now due to this test. I found out I was estrogen dominant, and I am presently using the progesterone cream.
My advice is to go get your hormones checked. At the same time, get your thyroid checked as well. From what I have read, women need to start getting their thyroid checked at around 35. At the same time, make sure they check your reverse T3 levels. I was having difficulty losing weight, and my Reverse T3 levels came back in high range. I'm now heading in the right direction.
The answer to this problem is that there is nothing wrong! The doctor did the bloodwork and a 24-hour urinalysis and everything came back normal!. They arent as bad now but some nights really get to me!.
In my opinion it could be early menopause or some of your med's. I would talk to your Doctors and also go to your Gyno, I had some blood work done and it showed that I was going through the early part of menopause. I was surprised that they could obtain this information from just a simple blood work, perhaps you could talk to your doc about it.
Update--the doctor just called back and wants a 24 hour urine sample to rule some thigns out. It's not my thyroid, labs were perfect recently. Jsut wanted people to know.
Thank you, that is not a bad idea with the fan....you just reminded me too that my doctor hasnt called back from the day after I posted this. I just realized how much time has passed--I have to call after 1 PM today. I'm surprised he hasnt called back actually. I have been trying some suggestions from people who've posted and have found that not eating before bed helps drastically. Sometimes I cant help it b/c i get hungry but most of the time I sleep and wake up totally dry (I just did actually from a 2 hour nap). So that is encouraging that that is all it could be. But I do plan on talking to my doctor soon.
