I can understand some of where you're coming from.  I used to be 200 lbs. during a time when I had a problem with alcohol.  It was my highest weight I think.  I stopped stepping on the scale after that.  After quitting alcohol (an exchanging it for an Eating Disorder...) I lost a lot of weight very quickly.  By the next year or so it was time to go into an Eating Disorder Unit because I was something like 80 lbs.  I stayed that weight for years, until I severely took a turn for the worse and went into my last center, 4 years ago.  Anyway, they put 100 lbs on me, and now I'm at 167 lbs and I'm 5'4".

People can be so cruel.  My mom's friend and I were just talking the other day (she's obese) about the stares and laughs from children she gets.  Why are people like this?  She's raised a perfectly fine child.  I can't even have a child because I messed myself up so much with the Anorexia.  You're just a person like everyone else, and can raise a child like everyone else.  At least that's the way that I see it.

I need to lose weight too. I use to be 500 lbs then had gastric bypass and lost 100 lbs. I then got pregnant almost 2 years ago.  Gained weight then lost weight but I am still 371 lbs now. I have started watching what I eat but it is difficult. I had a c section with my son but I still have excess skin and fat with is a bad thing for me. definately have low self esteem but am a happy person. I think my turning point was when I had my son. I didn;t know I was pregnant until 2 days before I had him. I found out through an x-ray. That was very scary there. But he is happy and healthy. I want to be around to watch him grow up. There are people out there who have expressed online when they read my story in the Orange County Register. The people who blogged were mostly negative and acted like how can an obese woman take care of a baby. It was bad but I know I am a great mom. Don't be sick of yourself just take it a day at a time and remember there is always someone to chat with if you have anything you want to chat about here online.
