Talk to your Family Doctor about trying Physical Therapy on your feet.  I am a Physical Therapist Assistant and we have had very good results treating patients with plantar fascitis.  You would be amazed at how several treatments could drastically reduce your foot pain.  If you have flat feet you may need an arch support to help support your foot which in turn reduces the pain.  There are stretching exercises you can do several times a day that will also help.

Wow I have tried every gel. I would love to wear tennies to work.LOL maybe i could tell them some on the Doctors said I should LOLO. Here in georgia we wear very high heels with pointed toes. LOL I sure would love a pair of thoses tennies they wore on the show with the cool heels.

I had this problem about 11yrs ago while working for a department store (tile floors of course) I went to a doctor who gave me that shot and Ilmost past out from the pain .  I desided not to ever do that again .  The shot aren't good on your heart .  I went to a pediatrist who made me a custom  fitted heel cup I was told never to wear high heel to work again .  I wore only tennis shoes with that heel cup to work .  I felt silly at first then I thought to myself what's more important how I look to others or being pain free .  I don't have to wear the heel cup at all now I wear Asics brand running shoe because they have a lot of cushion in the heel .  They feels good on I guess it's because of the gel they have in the heel .  My chiropracter told me about them .

Wow ladies my feet hurt all the time I thought maybe to much weight on them.LOL and also on my feet for 9 or 10 hrs a day carring dresses that weigh 90lbs.

I had this also. Gosh what havent I had. UGH, so painfull But, i had it in the arch of my foot . Did you see a Podiatrists? It might be a heel spur also. Those are like that too they can do an xray to make sure. But I had an excellent pod. before i got an injection she sprayed my foot to numb it and before I knew it she was done. But i did have to wear a boot typedevice for a while but no problems since thank god.

My friend got Plantar Fasiitis soon after her son was born in October 2007 and she has been battling ever since sometimes her feet hurt and are swollen so much she can not wear anything but house shoes, she's 33 and will be 34 in July and as for shots to help her she passes out so no surgery or shots for her as well.
