About Me
I'm a stay at home mom to my sweet 6 yr old daughter. Currently looking to get back to school and/or work after many yrs of being home. I've been on a popular diet counting everything I eat since Feb and have had little success after the first 3 months. My weight loss stopped at 28 lbs and since then, all I do is gain and lose the same 4 or 5 lbs. It's very frustrating. I need to lose a minimum of 60 more lbs according to my dr. I was diagnosed in Feb/March with obstructive sleep apnea and thought I could lose the weight quicker than I have been but no luck. I refused OSA surgery & weight loss surgery as well as the cpap machine although I realize the cpap machine could potentially save my life and so now I have it and I am using it each & every night until I am no longer overweight & it goes away! I am so much more than my weight & my health problems but right now my focus is on that area of my life so that I live! I'm gaining confidence in this diet and pray it will bring me to my goal weight. :)

a CPAP is a machine that I have to wear at night because I have obstructive sleep apnea. I stop breathing many times a night and the risk of heart attack, stroke and of course death are seriously increased without it's use. (until it is resolved with weight loss) Here is more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Positive_airway_pressure
if you don't mind me asking what is a cpap machine? i am 50 and i have 6 children and 8 grandkids and another grand on the way. and i have insomnia, i had lost 20 lbs about 6 months ago and gained it right back, my stomach just keeps getting bigger and the drs. say there is nothing wrong but i am the one who sees it and deals with it everyday. i was also offered to get the weight lost surgery but i am so scared to do it.
That's awesome! Keep up the good work!

Thx. I started weight watchers in feb , lost 25 lbs first 3 months than that started happening. I did go off the diet for a bit but when I went back I was very good just like I had been in the first 3 months. Yes, exercised but not like crazy. consistently walked everyday and then whatever else I squeezed in here and there. I lecture everyone in my home about water, so yes, I absolutely was drinking my water. and def eating enough calories lol, def. THIS diet however is working like a charm for me. 6 & half lbs gone already and I just started this monday! not bad for 5 days! :)
I just read your profile and was reading how you were losing and gaining the same 4 or 5 pounds. You may be at a plateau. Are you eating enough calories? Too little calories / day can make a person gain weight. Are you exercising? Drinking enough water? Just some thoughs.
