I missed that portion! Do they really require that you live in California to be eligable for the makeover??

If you go to the section about the makeover it says CA residents only!!!!

I guess I could go live with my son....he lives in Hollywood, it just doesn't make any sense to talk about something and then go to the site and it has restrictions.

Yes, I was dissapointed, too, about the MAKEOVER BEING JUST FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS..NOT FAIR, BUT WHAT CAN WE DO.  THE SHOW IS GREAT, but maybe they can't afford to pay someone for staying the length of time to do all the work.

  I had my family take pictures of me before Thanksgiving Dinner.  I have more than one problem.  I also have abdomen problems.  I have an obstruction after having a Hysterectomy, which has caused bowel problems and an abtrusive stomach. Good luck with your situation..

I had a complete hysterectomy at age 36. Since then every thing has gone south.

I'm trying to taper off hormones after all these years, but I wonder if I am doing the right thing.  My doctor said try to do it in the winter months.....never  in summer.  So, far I feel fine. I will know when I finish this supply and start having trouble.

It seems we are all in the same boat with our "belly" problem.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.  I for one won't be doing the Christmas dinner. Once a year is enough for this old bird.!!

hmmm... i cant believe that you have to live in California in order to have a makeover. thats rediculous! i guess i shouldnt hold my breath then... i live in Canada. chances are VERY slim that i will ever have the chance. ive had 2 kids... and i have never had such low self esteem as i do now. i am almost at my heaviest weight... and am COVERED in pesky stretchmarks. i have flabby skin on my stomach. this isnt something that can be fixed by going to the gym... it needs surgery. hmmmm....i really wouldnt mind living in california... maybe hubby would be up for the move! lol

I totally agree it  should be open to all viewers, not just californians!! Doesn't california have enough beautiful ppls? I was upset when announced CA only. If you look at my profile story & photos, you will see that i am in DESPERATE need of a smile makeover due to a genetic enamel disorder of my teeth. It is SEVERELY bad, and there is no doubt in my mind that I have THE worst smile in america. It is very icky, I warn you before you look. I just wish that Dr. Dorfman or Dr. Stork or Dr. Phil or Jay McGraw or someone would just LOOK at my pics! ONE Look and there woiuld be no doubt that I should be chosen for help. My smile can't be saved with fixing my regular teeth, every dentist has told me that-- all I need is approx $2700 to have the rest pulled and some oral surgery to get rid of the ones broken off at the roots and the craters in my mouth (literally) dealt with and a nice set of big toothy dentures. A fairly small investment that one on the show could make in me could change mine and my four kids' lives forever. Also, my teeth issues are a SEVERE health risk because i am full of infection and it affects my overall health too. I have recurring bouts of congestive heart failure. My own family dr is SCARED CRAZY (her words) for me because I have such bad teeth that the infection could go to my brain or heart ANYTIME and  I could die. They should do the makeovers to moer than just CA residents.  I think I deserve it. I think my kids deserve the mom I could be  if only I Had that stellar smile that SO many people take for granted.

    I didn't know the contests were limited?  I was totally blown away from the COMPLETE make over of that woman last week?  For the first time in her life she could say she was PRETTY?  She looked GREAT!!  These doctors are AWESOME!!!  They get you the doctor that is RIGHT for you!  I LOVE this show.  I'm really hoping they do a HUSBAND/WIFE make over!!!

Hi Nanag, yes I agree with you. I think everyone should have a chance or take it off national tv.

Actually I think you you look pretty good. I have been skinny all my life until 2002. I had colon

cancer and I had chemo for six months and those steroids blew up my belly and with little or no

excercise. I was through. lol. I also have RA and had a total hip replacement, so excercise was at

a minimal for a while.
