Hi Melony.....Truly, I agree with you. My strength and joy come from the Lord. If it were not for answered prayers, I would not be here today. Please feel free to contact me at our toll-free number, if you need any materials, have questions or want to talk: 888.445.4588. Have a wonderful weekend!
It was great seeing Dystonia on the show today. I have cervical and cranial dystonia. I had to stop working as an LPN due to all my pain. It is a long road to finding a doctor who understands. Great meeting you on here.
I also suffer from Dystonia. Alex, you are not alone. I experance the same fears you have. I also had to give up my passion of nursing. I get the stares when I go out in public. There are hundreds of thousands of people who are going through the same thing. We cannot let dystonia rob us from living happily and contributing positively to society. There is a web site for us to keep connected with others who are dealing with the same things. Check it out :www.dystonia-foundation.org/. E-mail me if you want to talk.
