I don't know hun, I've had the shot done before.  I like the shot.  I've heard good things about the ring though.  But, I'm sure it's different for everyone.  Some of my girlfriends have had bad luck with the shot.. so yeah.  Speak to your Doctor about it, if it won't conflict with anything you might have, or might be taking, try it out for a month or two.  If you like it, stay on it.  If not, try something else. 

I think that's why Dr. Stork didn't become an OB/GYN.  He's got a phobia of "rings".  hehe
