Three days have passed by in the new year and I am getting all these e-mails about people getting exhausted from pushing the pedal to the metal. Wooo W slow down.... not so fast ! It is a good thing that you 've put your new resolution into motion. Don t start flying before you start walking. Remember to start with little baby steps. Start your exercise program maybe one day a week, then increase to 2 days, 3 days as you start to get more comfortable with giving up your time doing " other things ". If not you are going to get bored very quickly and not stick with it in the long term because you will be missing your tv watching or facebook chatting or whatever activity you spent time on. You want to find a good balance with continuing to do what pleases you and allocating a little of that time to your exercise. When you start to see results and feel good, you will automatically devote a little more time to achieving that healthy balance. So take a step back, reset that button and start over with a more realistic plan.
