Wrong Place At The Wrong Time

Have you ever felt like you are always in the wrong place or it was the wrong time. It seems like some people are always in the right place at the right time and get all the good deals life offers. I have never won anything over 10 dollars or gotten a great deal on an item at a store or yard sale. Everything I had in my life I got it the hard way I worked my rearend off for it. I had always heard its who you know not what you know and I think it is true I've seen it. These people seem to get everything handed to them without trying and others do the hard labor and get nothing and they are the ones that made this person look good that does nothing and gets all the credit. Why is our society so unfair in the work place and in life itself.

I always say if it weren't for bad luck I would have no luck at all.My hubby and I work our butts off also just to makes ends meet and then somebody moves the ends. But thats life I guess. When I go to Calif. I always play the lottery and hope to win big.But when I don't I just believe it wasn't mean't to be.I think thats how you have to look at it.

Yep you said it guess most of us have bad luck lol. I play the Lotto now and again never know but if I did win a real big one much of it would go to my family and people in need as myself. I see no need to be greedy just happy.

Yes it could always be worst.

Dear Leslie, We make our own luck.  Are you having a pity party?  You walked away from a 1 million dollar house.  You have the ability to do that.  think about how blessed you have been. you have three beautiful kids who accept that they now have two moms and no dad.  Okay, I need to pause that thought so I can say this. It started to rain so I called my son out to help me waterproof the basement.  While he was fixing the rain gutter, I realized the dog had run away.  We got in the car and drove around half the neighbohood.  when we got home, my younger son met us and told us Luke was in the house.  We got him, a purebred golden retriever from my sister and brother in law in Jan.  He is less than a year old.  My thomas and Luke are tighter than a clam shell.  I haveto take back what I said.  Luck has something to do with it.  I have to say I have had equal parts good and bad fortune in my life.  finding this site and making friends is one of the best things.  So, this is me eating humble pie.

I didn't mean I wasn't luck with my family my being excepted was not luck but from my personality that won them over. My children will always have their father within me and I'll never take that from them. They have learned these are only labels society has given people and only tend to sterotype them and does not tell the story beyond ones cover you know don't judge a book but its cover. I was kind of making a point of how some people can fall into manure and come out smelling like a rose.

I understood that.  Sorry if I came off Snarky. God smighted me right after I typed that.  My dog got out.  Fortunately, while I was off looking for him, John located him and brought him home.  I am very lucky.  I sincerely want to apologizze.  I know that being accepted was work and not luck and that your kids will always have a dad.  I really don't know what I was thinking.  Please accept my apology.  I often engage my lips without engaging my brain.  Bobbie

If you have your health, consider yourself lucky!!

Health is lucky but you also need a job to have the food and shelter and health care to keep you health. Your genes play a huge role in your health as well as your mind because I believe your mind if you let it can heal many things in your body.
