Canker Sores

I was watching the show today on how to cure problems in 5 mins with Dr. Bill Dorfman on the show! I had a question about canker sores, because I get them ALL the time and I think more often when I'm stressed...is there any way to prevent them? Also, what was the name of the cream Dr. Bill said helps get rid of canker sores if you get the laser? He was very informative (also because my brother chews ice ALL the time), but I don't remember the name of the cream! Anyone know...Thanks!

hi i used to get canker sores a lot and way back in 1962 i worked in a pharmacy and the pharmacist there said to take l lycine which is a over the counter vitaume that has worked for me and one of the reasons a lot of people get the canker sores is they have a system with to much acaid and this has worked for me i take one a day in the morning and since i started taking them i have had very few canker sores

Mom I use the same thing and only when I get one. It takes care of it in only a couple of days. the over countor is oral base and the pres is aphthasel. Hope this helps
