I am a 42 yo mom of two teenagers. 18 and 15 this July. My son (the younger one) is autistic and has a Chiari Malformation that, I think, has an effect on his autism. I have hydrocephalus, epilepsy, and autoimmune issues due to candida and am responding to treatment. I also suspect my son is affected by yeast overgrowth, and my daughter may be as well.

My life has been consumed with constant research on the many medical issues we have to cope with in our house. My daughter is seeing specialists about persistent UTIs and had an ablation for Wolff-Parkinson-White two years ago, doing well with it now. It's all a lot to deal with, but I'm working hard at helping everyone get and stay healthy. I am also active on several online neurological support forums in the hopes of helping others. It makes me feel good and actually gives meaning to some of the trials I have endured with my own medical issues.
