Hey! First thing I want you guys to know is KIDS GET ARTHRITIS! I would know, my daughter Liz has arthritis, and she is thirteen. We don't know what type she has, or even how long she has had it for, all we know is she has it in her hips, her knees and ankles hurt, and she is a head story at Floating Hospital. Her rhuematologist Dr. Lopez is clueless about what she has, he has three types he is leaning towards, one is in the back, one is temporary, and the other just doesn't fit her. She can't do normal kid stuff, including running and walking for long distances, and NEVER can she do cheerleading, she can't flex her legs, heck, she can barely walk in the morning. Arthritis is the leading cause of disability in children in America.
