Hello my familia on Doctors: Today I had an appt with my podiatrics and he checked my feet( right foot is the problem child) So the shot I was given with the big needle through the bottom of my foot into the nerve in July didn't work in stopping the imflammation/pain. So he made me temporary foot braces for both feet to go along w my shoe inserts. Then he says stop using ur cane everyday for now, becuz the progression is getting worse concerning ur spinal disease. Ur spine disease is causing all the problems u have now with ur lower body legs, hips, feet etc so I want u to walk on ur own to continue to feel how that feels, becuz in 2 yrs or less u will be in a wheel chair and probably in 2 weeks I'll have to put u in a walking cast for ur right foot becuz the RA is so bad in there will need to rest it off and on so u'll be in a walking cast every few months. So this was the kicker when he said u'll be in a wheel chair I laughed and said " I GUESS WE'LL C N 2 YRS HA DOC. " He says well I c ur n good spirits. Hey I figure I'm alive and kicking and I've been in a wheel chair, on a cane and a walker so it is what it is. To me only GOD knows for sure. P.S: MY HOME COMPUTER IS DOWN FOR A WHILE MY 22 YR OLD STEPSON DECIDED TO ORDER A $150 of PORN. So when he decides to pay for it I'll get the computer and cable back on. I'll just pay my balance owned. Love u all thanks for da comments and support. Will keep u informed

I don't know if they would help but have you tried any kind of AFO or KAFO? AFO stands for Ankle foot orthotic and KAFO stands for Knee Ankle Foot Orthotic.  You can see by looking at my profile pic and some pics on my profile an example of an AFO.  I wear an AFO so that I can walk and I use a crutch everyday.  hope this gives you some ideas.
