I am learning to reinvent myself, since I am recovering from a brain injury from 2-6-2008. I am doing well considering all that my brain went through, but I just am not one to be held down. I cannot return to work, yet but that still is my goal.  I feel I was allowed to live through this injury for a reason. At this point I feel my purpose in life is to use what have been through to help others. That is why I created a website to share my story in hopes to encourage others. www.kellithesurvivor.com I also volunteer. Before the BI I was a mental Health Counselor. I have always enjoyed helping people and still do. I refuse to let the BI hold me back. I use my favorite quote 'The person who lacks the courage to make a start has made the finish already' to help me go forward each day.
