Today I hopped on the scale and haven't lost anything since sunday. I have not cheated. Exercise is hard for me. only a few minutes at a time, I am more active, but now a bit discouraged. I know I should be thrilled with my progress so far, but I can't help but worry I am already at a plateau.

It really is about calories in, calories used. So, if you can't move your whole body, could you sit and march your feet? That's a workout. Or, pump your arms, up and down, in and out, in circles, anything that will raise your heart rate a bit is good. Even just little bits add up. I have fibromyalgia, and some days, well, it's just better to stay in bed. And I'm in a catch 22 situation. If I move, I'm going to be sore after, but if I don't keep up with some kind of movement, its like my body seizes up. So, don't get discouraged. Do what you can, but keep doing it. Good luck.

Have you continued to drink the eight 8 ounce glasses of water each day? It's really important that you do. You also need to look at how much you have already lost in relation to how much you need to lose. If you're getting close to your goal, your weight loss may be slowing down. Frank

Hang in there. I am experiencing the same problem, I am eight days in and only lost 3 pounds, but it is 3 pounds less than I had before. Some theories lend to think that each of us processes food differently and that in women particulary their bodies will hold onto fat as a defense mechanism. Just keep it up and those numbers will gradually work their way down. You Can Do It!
Wow. This is why I love this place. Lots and lots of support. I think the salt may have something to do with it, I went out 2 days in a row, Had chicken soulvaki for lunch minus the bread, and then Chipoltes the other day , chicken , veggies no rice, no beans , no guac, no cheese and no sour creme! I wonder if there is hidden sugar.
@frb16580 I know the water has been an issue because I am always on the run. I have to be more conscience of that. You guys are great!

Drinking all the water is a great workout for me. My only bathroom is on the second floor. :) I've been running up the stairs several times a day.
Have you looked online for a website for LOW IMPACT exercises? Do a search & you might come up with several seated routines that will work for you until you build up the strength to do more.
