About Me
Three and a half years ago I was planning to move to Colorado to take care of my elderly Mom. I gave up my job and gave away most of my material possessions before I moved. I went for a full health check up before I left and found out that I had breast cancer. So I had to wait for the operation and the outcome. Luckily it was insitu and did not travel. So this was just another bump in the road. A month and a half later I was on my way to Colorado. I could not take the time for reconstruction. It was not that important to me. It was more important for me to be there for my Mom. I arrived in Colorado in October and I was planning to go back to New Jersey for my daughters wedding right before Christmas but that was the year we had a very bad blizzard and my flight was cancelled. So I missed my daughters wedding. That was very hard for me but she had a beautiful wedding and I was very proud of her. If I did not come to Colorado when I did I do not think that my Mom would have survived the winter. That year we had one bad storm after another. She would have fallen either taking out the garbage or going to the mailbox. I used to have a sense of style when I was working, but now a pair of jeans and a blouse and sneakers are it.
What I love about life right now is that I am able to be here for my Mom when she needs someone. Some things in life are just so compelling no matter what the cost or sacrifice you have to make. It is just the right thing to do!
I bought my friend Linda a plaque with an uplifting saying on it.

I love your show and I watch it everyday. You are providing very important information. Plastic surgery is important for poor children who have deformaties and not just for frozen faced middle age people.
