How art thou everyone? I'm on Day 2 of Cycle 1 and although I generally eat healthy my BIG weaknesses are chips, rice cakes, smart puffs, tricsuits WHATEVER and my beloved 2 glasses of chardonnay at night. First night was dicey wondering if I was gonna slip and just have a 1/2 glass of wine but no can doody. I stayed strong and carb free.
Anybody else with the same dietary issues?

Hi, C ON G R AT S ON YOUR FIRST DAY!!! WOO HOO W A Y T O G O ♥ I was a carb girl too. Now I like them less. It is gonna take time for you to get thru this. I will be here for you. It is not easy for sure. I am so glad that you do not feel guilt like I did. Cause I was not as strong as you in the beginning. After time it gets easier. Really it does. lshabazz/ tifa ♥
Same for me day three and I have lost 3.5 pounds I also like my red wine in the evenings. And with my family not on a diet its VERY hard for me. So far I am on track. I just have to take it one day at a time. Good luck to you!

Thanks Gals! I'm the only one in my fam on this journey as well eventhough they are pretty healthy eaters. I left all the reduced fat chips and rice cakes in the pantry for them to gorge on. So far no snack envy yet but hey, it's only DAY 2. Nice to hear from ya.

Just remember this plan is to get our metabolism back on track. OK. Also, just a little tidbit- the different levels seems to fake out our bodies. I was reminded of this earlier this week...It's all in the book.. Alot of ppl love cycle 1 and 2. Cause we really lose. Cycle 3 you get more food and I for one rushed back to cycle 1 not realizing the plan is made in such a way for us to change our metabolism. I am 55 and it is harder than when I was in my 30 or 40's to lose. I would pop in a Jane Fonda tape and my girls and I would work out. LOL....
Now they are so slim and eat real good. God willing they will stay that way...We can do this, you see I said we... I am here for the long run. See you ladies around and hang in there..... tifa ~ ♥♥ ~ ~ ♥♥ ~ ~ ♥♥ ~
I totally hear you about the wine. I'm on Cycle 2 day 12, and have lost 12+ pounds so far. The reason I say 12+ pounds is because I've decided to weigh myself once a week, and haven't since sunday. I've decided to have a glass of wine once in a while but also drink a large glass of water before the wine in addition to the 64 oz/day. It seems to be working for me. If you choose to not have a fine wine from time to time, all the power to you. I just wanted an option that worked better for me. Good luck!

Hi K8 the GR8 - I know it's been nearly a year since you posted, but I just started Cycle 1 and your title caught my eye! I would love to know how you've done and how you managed the wine portions. I was telling my daughter-in-law about the plan and she commented she'd never ever be able to do it because she loves her 1-2 glasses of red wine every evening, and COW! She's not overweight at all, but would like to take 10-15 lbs. off. I was wondering how other wine lovers manage. It isn't a habit of mine so I don't mind giving up 2-3 glasses per month so that I can stick to it 100%. Besides, I like White Zin which my darling daughter-in-law refers to as the Kool Aid of wines. LOL!!!!
