I was just watching a program on our medical issue in the US. I have been in the deparment of corrections field for awhile now. Did you all know that the inmates are given free medical coverage. I mean these inmates commit cruel crimes and are given the best medication and are rushed to the hospital with the slightest cough. I have seen them receive top notch medications and surgeries. I am not saying that a human doesn't deserve to be treated, though I am pissed off about the "good" citizen out there that does not have the money or job to get this type of treatment. I think that there has got to be a way for our country to take care of us "all" If these States can provide medical procedures and prescriptions to an "inmate" then why can't they do the same for us. There is nothing worse than to see a person end up in the ER, knowing that they will be paying for it for the next umpteen years...To add to my frustrations, I was injured during a prison riot and fought to receive medical treatment. I also had to wait, yes wait to receive my paycheck for more than 14 months while the State reviewed my incident. Are you kidding me...I was hurt in a riot, it's not like I tripped or got a papercut. Whew...I'd better stop, I am starting to sweat and get pissed again. I am just so irritated with how things are going and how we can get so miss treated...UGH!!

I so agree there are so many people who can not afford to go to the doctor. You would think someone in office could come up with a plan.I think it is so unfair that parents can not afford to take their children to the doctor.Or elderly people who have worked all their lives so they cant afford to keep healty.

I have to admit that is some of the most backwards thinking isn't it? The law abiding citizens are medically ignored if they do not have health care coverage. It is such a sad state of affairs here in the US when we still refuse to take care of our own.
