About Me
I am a 48 year old mother to 5 children. When I was diagnosed with Hashimotos Thyroiditis 4 years ago that is when the weight started to stick. My highest weight was 202 lbs. I have always been a caretaker and a giver...but left myself out of the mix....Now i need to take care of "ME" I am starting this program with my weight at 185.8lbs, I am 5'2'' and small boned so my goal is to lose a total of 80lbs. I'm so excited feeling like this is finally going to work. Reading all the stories and different posts has inspired me to work hard and commit to the program. This is new for me, a community online but I'm finding it to be a valuable source of support.

I hope you are doing well! You are in my thoughts!
Hi Jamisue. Glad to have you as a friend and as part of the 17 day diet. I am in cycle 2 and am loosing weight very slowly but loosing more than I have ever lost in my life during this short of a time period. Only down a touch over 7 but I am happy and feeling better.
You can do it. We are all sticking together. I want you to know that we have another home other than in Wisconsin. Our other home is in Miller, South Dakota and it is a phesant hunting business for my husband.
Oh, I am so with you with the craving carbs problem. I having been waging a battle with weight all my life it seems. I lost about 6 lbs this fall and gained back 2 but still fighting it. I want to lose about 10-15 lbs so I can get into a coat I just love but can't button it..grrrrrr.I'll not give up,lol. I will be happy to lose even 5 at this point. One lb. at a time.
You just keep at it JamiSue. Thanks for inviting me, it will be nice to chat to other people with the same battles with weight or whatever. :)
Hi JamiSue - Thought I would check in and see how you are doing. I am finishing day 11 and with the added insult of the "monthly" I am still at a total of 8 lb weight loss. But I won't sneeze at that. Went shopping today and bought a smaller size t-shirt, so the exercising must be taking of some inches. Hope to hear your success. Keep on going! Temptation is not as far away as that extra lb that you will lose.
