Hi.  I am almost 53 years old and had a book published earlier this year regarding my late husband's battle with leukemia.  A portion of the proceeds from each book sold goes to Leukemia Lymphoma Society. I'm hoping that people whom read this story will become adequately informed to hopefully keep them from getting diagnosed too late, and become aware of the common symptoms prior to diagnosis and the treatments he endured so people can become more informed about the importance it is to have chemotherapy and why it is so vital.

I am not a classy dresser. I tend to go more for comfort than style.  I like to keep myself covered up pretty much because I have so much blubber from losing so much weight after getting off the Prednisone.

The last thing I purchased for my friend is a 20 piece set of silverware as a Thank you and Just Because gift for being able to see her and the family in another state.

I love Christmastime, with the decorations and Christmas songs.  It helps uplift me during an otherwise SADD season.
