When I was 6, I got my ear's pierced. I carelessly let them grow back shut. Nothing out of the ordinary. But when I was 8, I got them pierced again, and they got all swollen and red. Kind of like a pimple. Since then, I've discovered that I am allergic to fake metal (also known as "nickle.) The bumps never went away, and it feels like there may be fluid in there. Do you guys think me being allergic to nickle has anything to do with it? Should I see a dermatologist?

Hi,
your ears never completely grow over.
Just a thin film of skin that with little
effort and no blood, just work the
earring thru the hole. I agree with
the lady below, invest in some good
quality earrings. Sludge
