Stress Reduction

Stress free living, how sweet would that be? Lol, my life is a life of high stress. Both home and work present many stressful situations for me. Because of this I often have to make time to just relax...These are some of the things I do to reduce my stress.

  1. Go for a walk/enjoy nature
  2. Type in a blog or write in a journal
  3. Light candles and sit in a quiet, dark room
  4. Play with my dog :)
  5. READ :D
  6. Listen to music (classical or other depending on the mood. Sometimes the loud stuff helps me get my frustration out.)
  7. Watch a good movie

Talking to people about your problems is also a really good idea. I'm not much of a talker. I don't like to talk to people about my problems. I'm very much an introvert.

Hmm, if you have a problem with tele-marketers....like I do lol. Throw your phone out the window....that's a great stress reliever lol. (That was a joke)

I agree that it would be nice to get ride of stress, however stress is a primal response that would be helpful for us if we were still living in the wild and fighting for our lives everyday! The busy lives we live now have actually taken that much needed primal response and turned it against us! I take a few different herbal supplements for stress and they work great! The first one I take is an Amino Acid found in Green Tea, it is call L-Theanine and it helps reduce stress by increasing  Alpha Brain Waves, which are the brain waves that are present when we are relaxed! You can get it online for a very great price at www.swansonvitamins.com

Another Herb I take is called Ashwagandha(AKA: indian Ginseng-although it isn't really a type of ginseng) it is an adaptogenic herb, which basically means that it works with your body to help reduce stress and it is also great for the immune system! You can find this supplement at the same website I have listed above. The great thing about swanson vitamins is that they have the lowest prices and greatest quality herbs. They also have extrodinary customer service 24hrs/day 7day a week and they have a 7 leaf guarrenty, so if you are not satisfied with what you purchase they will refund your money, No Questions Asked! I hope that this information helps!
