About Me

I am 44, kid is grown, I am tired of being fat. I am determined to lose weight. I have always been big so I am not looking to be a stick person I just want to be be able to wear a size 10 jeans. I am 5'6" and weighed 223 on Monday when I started cycle 1. I have not weighed myself yet because if I haven't lost "enough" weight I will be discouraged and eat a bag of chips.  I guess I should mention I am a chip addict so this week has been really hard not to eat something that ends in tos, ie cheetos, fritos, doritos. I am going on vacation mid-june and want to lose at least 20 lbs by then.

Day 9

So it is day 9 C1, I have lost 12 pounds. I am thrilled by the lose but God help me I want a chip! So my mantra for tonight is: I will not eat a chip-I will not eat a chip-I will not eat a chip.

Kale Chips

So I made kale chips tonight. They were not bad. They had a nice crunch to them and the flavor was satisfying.  I also had the sesame fish for supper and it was great. i am going to get on the scale tomorrow for the first time. It will either give me the boost I need to keep going or really make me mad.
