Hello everyone,
I am trying to spend quality time with my son before he goes to college next week. I’m so proud of him!

We just got back from a surf weekend in La Jolla. We have been surfing together since he was about 10 years old. It is a great bonding sport for us, but also a great sport for women.
Not only is surfing a great way to increase upper body strength, but it’s a great cardiovascular workout as well. If you’re apprehensive about getting in the water, it is much easier and safer with the soft boards. And the rewards are many. You get outside, get comfortable with your body, and you feel so good when you finally catch and ride a wave. It’s an excellent workout, and I find it very empowering.
There are some great surf schools and camps for both women and girls, and I encourage anyone who is interested to look into one. I will be sharing this personal experience on one of our new shows this season.
Here’s to living well,
~Dr. Lisa Masterson

God bless him and keep you all a way from any harms.
Dr. Please look in my son case and advice. He has a Beta Thalassemia Major and on Regular Blood Transfusion. Is there any possibility to help us?
Your Son is a complete doll! He looks so much like you. My prayers are with you and him. I bet he is going to miss Mom just as much as you are going to miss him. You are such a cool Mom!!
My only surfing experience - When I was younger, I went to the beach with my Brother and friends... They were all surfing and I wanted to try, so I grabbed a board and asked a few questions... Figuring it was pretty simple if I could balance?!.... lol Paddled out and guess what!?.. Every single one of them 'conveniently' forgot to mention the sex wax.. the rest is history. They all sat around and scared me to death with shark stories after that. lol :)
Thank you so much for being gracious enough to share part of your life with us! You really are quite a woman! God bless you and your family, Dr. Lisa!

Fantastic Pics! Thanks for sharing.
Dr. Lisa, your pictures are beautiful! Good luck to both you and your son as he leaves for college.
You are absolutely right, surfing can be a great workout and is so much fun! I have lived my entire life at the Jersey Shore and many of my fondest memories growing up are of surfing with my sister and friends. I can't wait to see it on the show!!
DR. LISA
OF COURSE YOU ARE PROUD OF HIM. YOU SHOULD BE MY SON IS NOT EVEN 5 YEARS OLD YET AND THE YEARS ARE JUST FLYING BY LIKE MINUTES. THEY GROW UP SO FAST BUT THEY WILL ALWAYS BE OUR BABIES.
It shows on your face how proud you are of him. Although I don't have children of my own because of having cancer. I have so many nieces and nephews that I call my own and I know how proud I am of them.
I love the show so much that when I miss it I log on to the computer to watch. Keep up the good work!
I was watching your show yesterday, and I was offended by your suggestion that women should have so called sexy or pornographic images to put them in the mood.
I think the porno industry has become widespread and is bringing harm to our young peoples lifes as well as society in general.
I'm familiar with another web site about bringing couples closer, and it just happens to state that porno is stopping men and women from being truly intimate and close as nature intended it to be.
Many men have trouble making love to their wifes who involve themselves with this so called material.
I don't believe it makes a couple emotionally closer when it is used.
I'm not going to watch a show that suggests I do harmful things to my life.
You should really try to become more informed about such things.
