Hello All....I'm a 59 year old retired nurse, who has also worked in education and as a photojournalist.  I reside in northeast CT (the Quiet Corner) with my American Cocker Spaniel, Tory, who is also my companion pet.  I was widowed two years ago from my beloved husband, Rich.  His death was very sudden and unexpected, especially since he was much younger than I.  He died two weeks after he had torned 43.

I'm very concerned about the lack of quality health care, particularly in my area of the state, as well as in the northeast in general.

I struggle with helping my 32 year old daughter find good health care.  At this time she is diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and a seizure disorder that has been diagnosed as epilepsy, however, I question the accuracy of her diagnosis.  Physicians have determined that she has an "unidentifyable" mass in her brain as well as evidence of blood in her cerebral-spinal fluid.

I hope that this site will help me to secure a more accurate diagnosis and treatment for her.
