Hi, I have a little problem and I can't wait to find out the results in 2 weeks!
After I finished my period I didn't take my pill straight after I was supposed to. Last month I got my period while I was still taking the pill and that doesn't make any sense to me. So I decided not to take the pill this month, but ofcourse my partner couldn't wait for another month to have his satisfaction. So we had our fun, and I took my 1st pill straight after. We haven't really stopped having fun since and I missed I think 2 pills this week. But I have this fear that I may be pregnant cause of taking the pill after intercourse. I really dont know if the pill will still prevent me, there isnt anything that says how many days it will take for the pill to kick in. I see accidents with the pill on those talk-shows and I just dont wanna have this, I do have 2 wonderful children but I'm just not ready for the 3rd, not at this time atleast.
Please console me....

well, all i can tell you is what my friends keep telling me. If it's your time, it's your time, if not blame it on fate and your husband's sex drive...jk. I had to go off birth control in January, not enough money. No matter what i tried I couldn't find the money so i just had to go off. My husband won't wear condoms, 'too constrictive'...is that a guy thing?? So, we just figure if we have another kid we do. Unfortunately for my self-esteem I've had three miscarriages since then.. But i'm not doing much for consoling am I?? Sorry, not too good at that as i thought I was. Well hun..good luck. That's all i can say.
Well, I don't know how much consoling I can give you, but I am a grandmother (young)... and I DO have some experiences in life. What I can tell you is...if you don't want any more children right now, you are living a very risky life! Your birth control pills should be taken exactly as prescribed, otherwise, they do you no good at all! Could it be, perhaps, that you might be lax with the instructions because deep down you really want to have another child? Look within yourself for answers. If you get by "this time" and get your period, consider yourself lucky, and take the necessary steps to be compliant with your birth control in the future. Birth control must be taken exactly as prescribed. Good luck my dear.
