Coach Marquez BS in Health/Kinesiology
I have been in the Health & Fitnes industry for more than 20 years. I have been a health teacher, PE teacher, Medical Technition, Published Health & Fitness articles, Fitness Directior, Personal Trainer and Coach. I have been studing Health, Fitness, & Medicine since I was 12 years old. Recently, I have been studying the Pyhsiology of the human brain as we age and how we can relate it to health, sports, and concutions.
While teaching Elementary PE in San Antonio, I came up with a theme. It was called.
Your Health is Your Choice-Choose to play!!!
When you are born you have limited control of your health. your parents choose your food intake and the activities that you do.
As you get older you will have more control of the choices you make. When you turn 18 and get out into the world on your own, everything changes. It will be your choice to choose what you eat and the activity level of your choice. These choices make a big impact on the rest of your life.
Fitness and Health is not easy these days, that is why you have to take control. The Gidgets and Gadgits you see on TV are just that. It is all about money. Yes they look wonderful on TV,but when it is all said and done-you have to trust the old saying, it all comes down to Hard Work,Blood, Sweat and Tears.
In closing, I just want to say-the only person that has control of your health is you. So have a great year and motivate your self to get off the couch and choose to play. There is only one you and you only get one chance here on this earth. Make the best of it, and don't forget "Your Health is Your Choice-Choose to Play" and you will make it another day.
