Thank you. I posted on Be On the Show before I saw this message. I will re-post on Ask The Doctors because I would like to interview one of these pros for my blog.
If you would like to submit a question to The Doctors you can do so by going to the top of this page and placing your cursor over CONTACT THE SHOW. In the drop down menu you will see ASK OUR DOCTORS. Click ASK OUR DOCTORS and fill out the form.
Thank you for including a segment in today's show that might help people who are afraid to get their flu shots because they have needle phobia. I suffered from this phobia since childhood and was devastated when I found a lump in my breast at the age of 29.
I hadn't been to a doctor in about ten years and forced myself to go. Somehow, I got through the biopsy and I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I underwent mastectomy and chemotherapy. It was a long tough road, but with dedicated doctors and my amazing husband by my side, I was able to deal with the fear to get the care I needed. I am now cancer free!
After telling my story, I began getting extradinary feedback from people who are just as scared of medical care. So, I started a blog on the subject in September - a month after I gave birth to my first child! I have also been speaking to local medical school students to get the word out on how to help a phobic patient.
If anyone on this board would like to connect, please do so through my blog:

And if one of The Doctors is reading this, I would love to interview you!
