I love to ride my bikes. I am an avid road cyclist and love to mountain bike as well. I love to race jet skis, wakeboard and kayak. One of my dreams is to ride across the country on my road bike ( but not by myself) I doubt that will ever happen. I am thankful for each and every day GOD grants me and I will never take breathing for granted EVER! I contracted a lung disease from an apparrent rare virus. My lungs were at 21 and 28%. I was told that lung transplants take place at 30%. Well, I am glad to report that I still have both my original lungs and Im doing pretty darn good. Dr. Ripoll has workes with me and encouraged me greatly and the one thing he has ALWAYS stressed to me was to never stop exercising. He knows how much I love to ride my bike and I was scared that I wouldnt be able to ride competively. Im not quite there but my goal in 2011 is to log at least 5,000 miles. Still taking meds,hope to be off completely in 6 months and completely cured. I am blessed, grateful and thankful!
